Since 1926, February has been dedicated to celebrating Black history—a time to honor the resilience, brilliance, and contributions of Black people to U.S. history. But let’s be real, Black excellence isn’t just a month-long affair—it’s a daily reality. At PeachFuzz Laser, we celebrate Black beauty, empowerment, and representation every single day, not just in February. In today’s political climate, where civil rights are still being challenged, it’s more crucial than ever for us to stand together, uplift one another, and create spaces where we are truly seen and valued.
Why Representation in Beauty Will Always Matter
For decades, the beauty industry ignored darker skin tones, from inadequate product formulations to unsafe treatments. And let’s not even get started on the lack of proper education when it comes to treating melanated skin. At PeachFuzz, we’re rewriting that story. Our mission is clear: beauty should be for everybody, and that means everybody.
This isn’t just about marketing—it’s about action. We’ve made it our business to provide real solutions for Black and Brown communities, ensuring that laser hair removal is not only accessible but also safe and effective for deeper skin tones. We see you, we hear you, and we’ve got you.
How PeachFuzz Laser Is Breaking Barriers
Our commitment to Black and Brown skin goes beyond words—it’s in everything we do. Here’s how we’re making a difference:
We Invest in the Right Technology
For the longest time, folks were told that laser hair removal wasn’t safe for dark skin. That may have been true in the past, but let’s talk facts: technology has evolved. At PeachFuzz Laser, we use cutting-edge laser systems designed specifically to treat melanin-rich skin with precision and care—so you get results without the risk.
Skilled Professionals Who Understand Melanin
It’s not just about the technology—it’s also about the hands that operate it. Our team is trained to work with deeper skin tones and understands the unique concerns of our clients. Whether it’s treating hyperpigmentation, ensuring the right settings for your skin type, or just making sure you feel comfortable, we make sure our expertise meets your needs.
Real Results from Real People
Don’t just take our word for it—here’s what our clients have to say:
Rhoena D. : I've been going to Peach Fuzz for over 2 years, so this review is overdue. I love that this place is black owned by an NP specifically catered to women of color with hormonal imbalances. This is so necessary for the community! The studio itself is clean and the front desk is always so nice. I have been seeing Erykah and she is amazing. She is warm and I look forward to my visits just to be able to catch up. I was so nervous at first but after 2+ years, my facial hair is something I no longer stress about. The change actually happened within 6 months of consistent visits. Over time the dark marks have really faded. I recommend it!
Joselyn W. : PeachFuzz is a place of excellence. I’ve seen great progress since starting my laser journey. The techs are very informative, and let’s not forget this place is black owned. There’s no better place to be than in a place where the women look like you, understand you, and care about your concerns and goals.I would absolutely 10/10 recommend. And when you go tell them Joselyn sent you! 🙏🏾
Latisha B. : The first time I heard of Peach Fuzz Laser was word of mouth from a former co-worker. It’s t very hard to find women of color that specializes in laser hair removal for women of color. I have been going to peach fuzz for about 9 months and I’m on my 7th treatment with Rashida and I love my progress. The ambiance and decor of the office have you feeling definitely at home. If I could give 10 stars I definitely would but I love this place and definitely recommend. Top photos are when I first started bottom is current photos of where I’m at now! After 7 treatments I think it’s safe to say that laser is working for and with my skin!

In a time where our communities continue to face systemic challenges, we believe in the power of economic support, education, and safe spaces for Black and Brown people to thrive.
We encourage you to support Black-owned businesses, amplify Black voices, and demand better representation—not just in beauty, but in every aspect of life. Because when we stand together, we make an impact that lasts far beyond February.
